FAQ
learnins.org is a technical infrastructure for digital learning provided by GIZ for the International Services division and the global projects it implements.
learnins.org is part of the atingi ecosystem because both platforms are operated by GIZ and are based on the same technology, such as the open source software Moodle for the learning management system. atingi, however, is commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). learnins.org, on the other hand, hosts projects by other clients and partners for whom GIZ International Services implements digital learning.
You can register to see an example and how the platform works. However, learnins.org is not an open platform like atingi, where anyone can register and use courses. Rather, learnins is used for projects by GIZ, International Services and their partner organisations, so that course participants either receive an invitation email from the project in question asking them to register themselves or are registered on the platform by the project manager.
To log in to learnins, please go to https://www.learnins.org/login/index.php and insert your email and password. Please enter the e-mail address you registered with on the platform.
If you have forgotten your learnins username or password, please go to https://www.learnins.org/login/index.php and click on "Forgotten your username or password". A window will open, where you need to insert your full e-mail address and click on "search". Afterwards, an e-mail will be sent to you, which contains a link to reset your password. Please make sure to check your spam folder for the e-mail as well and click on the link. You can then set up a new password with which you can log in to your learnins account. Your username is the e-mail address you used to register on learnins or provided to your project manager.
No, it is not. However, the costs of use are generally not borne by the learners themselves, but by the project.
